As a fresh ‘pure-play’ agriculture brand, Corteva Agriscience wanted to introduce its new purpose – to enrich the lives of those who produce and those who consume, ensuring progress for generations to come – to the farming community. We saw an opportunity to reach farmers at ‘Ag in Motion’, the largest Western outdoor tradeshow in Canada, by demonstrating how ag innovation touches every bite of food we eat.
The on-site activation featured a tent and food truck experience built around the ‘Corteva Taco’ – a meal that brought to life how each ingredient connected back to an innovation and product in agriculture. TV screens surrounded the area, providing food facts and trends to illustrate the company’s commitment to working with farmers. Customers, retailers, media and influencers were invited to meet the Corteva team and experience this unique farm-to-fork story.
Our food truck experience was a success, landing media coverage in all the top western agriculture publications, helping introduce the brand’s new story to the marketplace. We then took the activation on the road, visiting some of Corteva's top retail partners across seven locations in southwestern Ontario. Retailers cited it as "one of the best marketing initiatives they've seen" after the event helped them secure Corteva product orders on site.
